Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be in "LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part"

"The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part" has added a new addition to the star studded cast, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Lego version of Ginsburg, will make an appearance in the new LEGO Movie 2 which is set to be released Friday, February 8th.

"These movies are so full of surprises. And we were thinking, 'Who’s the last person you would think to see in a Lego film as a minifig?' Ruth Bader Ginsburg! And we’re all huge fans. It made us laugh to think of having her enter this world."

The screenwriters and producers of the 2014 "Lego Movie," Chris Miller and Phil Lord, agreed, Ginsburg would be a great addition to the sequel.

“We just were trying to think of people who should be immortalized in Lego and who seem fun at weddings."

The film makers even went the step further and sought after Ginsburg's approval for the appearance. According to Mitchell, she approved and even was excited to appear at a LEGO figure.

Also, to top off the good news, Ginsburg will become an official "LEGO Movie 2" figurine.

"So there will be a real Ruth Bader Ginsburg toy that boys and girls can play with. It will even come with a gavel"
