'Zombieland Double Tap' poster SONY

ZOMBIELAND 2 is coming and Sony has officially released a millenial-esqe tweet revealing the poster and a title that will bring some nostalgia, Zombieland: Double Tap

You might have seen the #10YearChallenge trending on social media, well, Sony really proved to the cinema world how a sequel ought to be presented.

Sony Pictures released the first Zombieland in 2009 and featured an incredible cast Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin and NOW we have the first look.

Fortunately for us Zombieland lovers, the original screenwriters of Zombieland wrote the sequel, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who went on to write Deadpooland and Deadpool 2. ALSO, the OG director Ruben Fleischer will return after making VENOM for Sony. Zombieland Double Tap also reunites all four of the main cast members. Lucky Us!

The Zombieland: Double Tap poster shows the return of Woody Harrelson (Tallahassee), Jesse Eisenberg (Columbus), Emma Stone (Wichita), and Abigail Breslin (Little Rock).

The sequel will also welcome, Zoey Deutchn, who was introduced to the project in November 2018, and Rosario Dawson.

Double Tap will reportedly show Columbus and Wichita having fight that results in Little Rock running away. This will result in them encountering new types of zombies and new humans, one who will capture the attention of Tallahassee... Maybe Dawson's character? According to Screen Rant.

They got the idea of Double Tap from Columbus' zombie rules, DOUBLE TAP is Rule #2. Production begins SOON and the movie is set to release in theaters THIS OCTOBER! Can you tell I'm excited?

Stay tuned for more news!
