Will Smith Shares First Look At Bad Boys 3

The long awaited sequel, Bad Boys For Life, got a first look image. Will Smith took to Instagram and shared the moving image along with the theme song.

Smith and Martin Lawrence will be returning to the big screen to brush the dust off their Miami PD badges as Detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey.

Although the first two films in the trilogy were written and directed by Michael Bay. The sequel film is written by Chris Bremner, Joe Carnahan, David Guggenheim and Anthony Tambakis and directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah.

We thought waiting for eight years for the 2003 Bad Boys sequel, Bad Boys II, was long. It’s has been 16 years since Bad Boys II hit theaters, we were doubting if we were ever going to see another sequel, but here we are. Oh boy, are we happy about it.

Bad Boys for Life production has begun two weeks ago and the finale of the trilogy is set to release in January 2020.

Bad Boys for Life will reportedly follow Miami PD’s elite AMMO team on its mission to bring down a drug cartel led by a villain named Armando Armas (played by Jacob Scipio). Will Smith’s Mike Lowrey life is threatened by Armas, along with dealing with the fact that his former girlfriend Rita (Paola Nuñez) is head of his unit. That's awkward.

Joe Pantoliano is rejoining the cast as Captain Howard, along with Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Happy Anderson, DJ Khaled and Charles Melton attached to join the supporting cast. According to Cinema Blend.

Bad Boys for Life will be released on January 17, 2020.
